Articles of Faith 13

^aWe believe in being ^bhonest, true, ^cchaste, ^dbenevolent, virtuous, and in doing ^egood to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we ^fhope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to ^gendure all things. If there is anything ^hvirtuous, ⁱlovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

As the thirteenth article of faith say, we believe that we have to be honest, for honesty is of Christlike attributes.  Being true is another of trait, for example, we are true to our friends, we are true to our families and the Church.  Who wouldn't want to have somebody who are true toward themselves?  If it wasn't so, we will have no one to turn to, no one to trust.  We also believe that it's very important to keep the Laws of Chastity.  For the sexual powers of our bodies are to be employed only within the bounds that the Lord have decreed, which is between husband and wife.  Adultery is a serious transgression.  Sexual sin is the second worst sin next to murder.  The reason why it's so important is that the powers of procreation is very sacred and God have given us the power so that we can help Him raise children unto Him.  With great power comes great responsibility.  To create a life... is one of the greatest thing that a couple can do.  We help give Heavenly Father's spirit children a body in which to inhabit so that they can grow up to become like unto Him.  we also believe that people have to be benevolent toward their relatives.  With love toward each other, a home will become like heaven.  Virtue means that we are clean and pure in mind, body, and spirit.  We also emulate the Savior by helping others.  We do not neglect people, in fact, we want to help them.

Paul gave an admonition that we are to believe in all things; that all things are possible.  There are many things that we have endured through and will endure through.  For according to Doctrine and Covenant 14: 7, keep all the commandments, endure to the end, and God will reward with Eternal Life which is the greatest gift of all.  If there are anything that are of God, we seek after them.  Which is why we say we look for virtuous, lovely, good report, or praiseworthy, we seek after all these things.

This is the last Article of Faith.  I know that these things are true.  That what I've written are true.  I would exhort all people to seek after the Truth and strive to gain an Eternal Life.  Which is what God wants for us.  He wants us to live with Him.  We have to do all things which He asks us so that we can fulfill His purposes.  I invite all to read this, ponder this, and ask for a copy of the Book of Mormon which is another testament of Jesus Christ.  That He is the Son of God, was slain for our sins, and was resurrected.  He now is alive and is at the Head of this Church.  I invite all of you to come unto Christ.
